NEU Gombe Matriculates Students, Announces 50% Scholarship for Science Courses

North-Eastern University, Gombe, has matriculated a new batch of students for the 2025/2026 academic session. At the event, the founder announced a 50 per cent tuition scholarship for selected science programmes.

NEU Gombe Matriculation for 2025/2026

The Pro-Chancellor and Founder, Dr Sani Jauro, Danlawan of Gombe, said about 450 students have secured admission for the session.

He described North-Eastern University as a modern, digital university set up to tackle challenges in Nigeria's higher education system.

50% Scholarship for Selected Science Courses

The Registrar, Hajiya Hauwa Abubakar, asked students to stay focused, use available resources and place safety and collaboration high in their daily conduct.

The university is expected to produce its first set of graduates by June 2026.
