ABU Postgraduate Admission Form 2025/2026

If you’ve been thinking of returning to school for your master’s or PhD, Ahmadu Bello University just cracked open the door for you. Their Postgraduate College started selling forms on 1st August 2025, and yes, it’s officially time to start putting your academic house in order.

This isn’t one of those long-winded announcements packed with big grammar. I’ll break it down. No stress.

Application Timeline

Mark your calendar o. You’ve got from Friday, 1st August to Sunday, 3oth November 2025 to buy and submit your form. After that, no more entries. Don’t wait until the last week. Something always goes wrong when you do.

All the admission screening stuff? That kicks off and wraps up within November 2025. So, time is tight.

Where to Apply

All applications will go through the Postgraduate College’s portal. You’ll find all you need there, from available courses to full requirements.

If you haven’t seen the list of ABU postgraduate programmes, maybe check that first. No point applying for a course that doesn’t exist.

The Price Tag

The application form goes for ₦10,000. Not bad, right? That’s without bank charges, though. You know how our banks like to sneak in their own wahala.

So, be ready to pay a little extra. It’s normal.

Basic Requirements

Let’s keep this straight.

• You must have at least five O’Level credits, including English and Maths. Two sittings max.
• A valid phone number and email address are not optional. They’re a must.
• If you’re gunning for a PhD, you need to upload a short research proposal. No more than 300 words. Think of it like giving them a taste of your brainpower. Keep it clean and focused.

Anything outside these and your form may just end up sitting in limbo. And nobody wants that.
