The AgricTech Scholarship has been announced for the 2025/2026 academic year, focusing on students in higher institutions across the South-Western states of Nigeria. That includes Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo.

Who can apply for AgricTech Scholarship
Applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Must be enrolled in a recognised Nigerian University, Polytechnic or College of Education.
- Must be in 200 level or above in Agriculture, Agricultural Technology or related courses.
- Grade requirement:
- First Class or Distinction gets top priority.
- Second Class Upper or Upper Credit may also be considered with other strong factors like passion, video strength or work done before.
- Transcript:
- An official or student copy of transcript covering your latest session.
- Must be signed or stamped by registry or department.
Other documents required include:
- A 2-minute video explaining your passion for agriculture or agric tech.
- A CV/Resume showing school background, past work and activities.
- A certificate of completion from an online agriculture course with FAO eLearning Academy (FAO eLearning site).
How winners will be picked
Selection will be based on:
- How clear and true your video looks and sounds.
- Academic performance.
- How the FAO online course links to farming or agric work.
- Leadership ability and role in community service.
