This year's contest is open to senior secondary school students across Ogun State, from SS1 to SS3. For many, it is more than a writing exercise, it is a door into recognition, learning and a rare chance to sit in the commissioner's chair, even if for just one day.
The competition is designed to revive interest in reading, give students confidence in self-expression and push them into healthy rivalry with their peers. The aim is clear: raise a generation that values words, ideas and their own voice.
