Akwa Ibom Poly Notice on NERD Project Submission for PCMs
Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic has issued a notice to all Prospective Corps Members and HND II students who have completed and defended their projects. The notice explains a new requirement linked to project records and NYSC mobilisation. Students affected by this update are expected to take action within the given time frame to avoid delays during clearance.
NERD Registration at Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic
All Prospective Corps Members and HND II students who have defended their projects are required to register their projects with the Nigeria Education Repository and Databank, known as NERD. This registration allows students to process their NERD clearance.
The NERD clearance is required before a student can gain access to the NYSC Orientation Camp. Without this clearance, mobilisation for national service may not proceed.
Students are advised to begin their project registration with NERD from Tuesday, 6 January 2026. Early action helps to avoid last minute issues during NYSC processing.
Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic encourages all affected students to comply with this directive and complete the required registration within the stated period.
