AIFUE Post UTME and Direct Entry Form for 2026/2027 Admission

Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri, has announced the start of registration for qualified candidates seeking admission into four-year degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The admission exercise covers courses under Arts, Education, Specialised Education, Social and Management Sciences, Science, Vocational and Technology Education.

Who Can Apply for AIFUE Post UTME?

Candidates who obtained a score of 150 and above in the stated admission year are eligible to apply for the screening exercise.

Applicants are expected to have uploaded their qualifying results to JAMB CAPS, since failure to upload such results will disqualify a candidate from admission.

Who Can Apply Through Direct Entry?

Direct Entry candidates must possess NCE, HND, First Degree, A'Level or an equivalent qualification in relevant disciplines.

Such candidates will be considered under the Direct Entry or Post NCE route, based on the option selected on the AIFUE portal.

What Should Candidates Who Did Not Choose AIFUE as First Choice Do?

Qualified candidates who did not make Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri their first choice are advised to visit any JAMB accredited centre or JAMB office and change their first choice to AIFUE.

The change may also be done at Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education CBT Centre.

How Will Candidates Apply for AIFUE Post UTME or Direct Entry?

Candidates are to visit the Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education website and click the AIFUE Portal.

The application process will be completed as follows:

  1. Visit the University website.
  2. Click AIFUE Portal.
  3. Select online screening form, Post UTME or Direct Entry.
  4. Select or check the appropriate box.
  5. Type the JAMB registration number.
  6. Click proceed.
  7. Fill the profile form correctly.
  8. Select the programme type, Degree Regular or Direct Entry/Post NCE.
  9. Click submit.
  10. Print the invoice.
  11. Proceed to Alvana Microfinance Bank or any other bank of choice to make payment through Remita.
  12. Return to the AIFUE Portal.
  13. Continue and complete the registration process.
  14. Upload the required documents.
  15. Click submit.
  16. Print out the success page.

Candidates should ensure that the JAMB registration number and programme type are selected with care, since the portal process depends on those details.
