The AOS Orwell Tertiary Scholarship 2025 is for full-time students at Rivers State University. This scholarship is merit-based and supports undergraduates who study engineering and show strong academic performance.
To apply, you must:
Prepare for JAMB, WAEC, NECO, BECE, NCEE and Post UTME
Practise CBT Exams on Mobile or PC
Prepare for Post UTME, WAEC, NECO, JAMB UTME, Junior WAEC (BECE) and Common Entrance (NCEE) with the MySchoolGist CBT App and Software. Use it on Android, iPhone or Windows to practise past questions anytime.

- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be in your second year of study (2023/2024 admission year)
- Be enrolled full-time at Rivers State University
- Be studying any engineering course
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale
- Not already be receiving any other national or international scholarship
Gather the documents you need before applying
You must upload clear, scanned copies of the following documents:
- Recent passport photograph (white background, 450×450 pixels, max 200KB)
- School ID card
- Admission letter
- O' Level result
- JAMB result
- Local Government Area identification letter
Tips for uploading:
- Name files clearly and correctly
- Make sure documents are not mixed up
- Check all uploads before submitting
- Your name on all documents must match exactly. If not, upload a sworn affidavit or name change certificate
Follow these steps to apply online
- Visit the AOS Orwell 2025 application portal
- Create an account or log in to an existing one
- Activate your account through the link sent to your email
- Return to the scholarship site
- Log in and complete your profile with:
- Personal and educational details
- National Identification Number (NIN), if available
- Scanned documents listed above
- Review your details and documents before submitting
- Click "Apply Now" under the AOS Orwell scheme to finalise submission
- Download your verification profile from your Scholastica account
- Have your Head of Department sign it
- Upload the signed profile to complete your application
Apply for or update your National Identification Number (NIN)
If you do not yet have a NIN:
- Visit NIN Enrolment Portal and create an account
- Fill out the form and schedule an appointment for biometric capture
- Visit a NIMC registration centre to complete the process
- Update your scholarship application with your NIN
Be ready for the next stage after applying
Shortlisted applicants will:
- Be invited to take an online computer-based test
- Receive test details by email and SMS
To avoid missing out:
- Double-check that your mobile number and email are correct in your application
- Avoid applying more than once, as multiple entries will lead to disqualification
