The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative Scholarship Grant Scheme is now open for applications for 2024.
The scholarship is designed to support 500 students at the Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University (KHAIRUN) in Kano State.

Criteria for Fresh Students
To be eligible for this scholarship as a new student, you must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 8 credits in WAEC or NECO examinations
- A minimum score of 200 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
- Age limit: Not more than 22 years
- Proof of identity
- Proof of state of indigene
Students with distinctions in their Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) will have an added advantage.
Criteria for Current Students
If you are already a student at KHAIRUN, you need to meet these requirements to apply:
- A strong GPA of at least 3.5 on a 5.0 scale
- Letters of recommendation from professors or academic advisors
These letters should confirm your academic performance and abilities.
