Auchi Polytechnic HND Admission Requirements – Important Eligibility Update

Auchi Polytechnic has issued a clear notice to all candidates and department clearance officers regarding the entry requirements for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes.

Only candidates who meet the stated requirements will be eligible for departmental clearance.

The required completion of Industrial Training (IT) is strictly based on the effective graduation date on the National Diploma (ND) notification, not the graduation session.

For candidates with a Pass Grade, a 24-month IT period is required, while others need a 12-month period.

The following candidates are not eligible for morning programmes in the current session:

• Those with ND Pass Grade results with effective graduation dates in 2023.
• All candidates with graduation dates anytime in 2024.

This notice serves as a reminder to all departments that failure to adhere to these rules will result in strict penalties.

All stakeholders in the clearance process must follow these guidelines without exception.
