Barau I Jibrin Foundation Domestic Postgraduate Scholarship 2025

The Barau I Jibrin Foundation has announced the Domestic Postgraduate Scholarship Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. This programme will provide scholarships for 300 graduates to pursue postgraduate studies in selected Nigerian universities.

This initiative focuses on supporting students in science and technology fields. The programme aims to nurture research and academic development.

Scholarship recipients will study at the following universities:

• Bayero University, Kano
• Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria
• University of Ibadan
• University of Nigeria, Nsukka
• Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife
• University of Lagos

• M.Sc. Artificial Intelligence
• M.Sc. Robotics Technology
• M.Sc. Cyber Security
• M.Sc. Data Science
• M.Sc. Information Technology
• M.Sc. Software Development
• M.Sc. Mineral Exploration
• M.Sc. Hydrogeology and Environmental Geology
• M.Sc. Oil and Gas Operations
• M.Sc. Applied Geophysics
• M.Sc. Metallurgical and Material Engineering
• M.Sc. Climate Change Management
• M.Eng. Mechatronics
• M.Eng. Intelligence System

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be under 35 years old at the time of application.
• Hold a first degree in Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields with a CGPA of 3.5 or higher on a 5.0 scale.
• Have five O'Level credits, including English and Mathematics.
