This programme offers a four-year course of study leading to the award of HND Nursing, Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwives (RM) and Registered Public Health Nurse (RPHN) certificates.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:
- A score of 140 or above in the 2024 JAMB, UTME, GCE or NABTEB.
- Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology from not more than two sittings.
- You may combine WAEC, NECO or NABTEB results.
- You must be at least 17 years old.

Application Process
Follow these steps to complete your application:
Step 1: Collect Receipt and Number
Visit the Bursary Department with your bank teller.
Request for a receipt, which will include a unique number.
Step 2: Submit Online Application Form
Access the Bayelsa State College of Nursing Sciences portal.
Use the receipt number to log in.
Complete the application form with accurate details.
Upload scanned copies of your WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results, JAMB result and other required documents.
Step 3: Print Acknowledgement Slip
After submitting the form, review the details and print the generated acknowledgement slip.
This slip contains your application information and must be kept for future use.
Step 4: Attend Post UTME Examination
Refer to the college website or brochure for information on the entrance examination.
Details will include the date, time and venue of the exam.
Bring the original copy of your acknowledgement slip to the examination venue.
