The Mo Ibrahim Foundation Academy Fellowship 2023-2024 is now open for applications. This prestigious fellowship, a joint initiative with the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, offers early-to-mid-career professionals from African countries the opportunity to spend ten months at Chatham House. Fellows will work on an individual research project of their choice, take part in the core work of the Institute, develop their leadership skills and expand their professional network in the field of international affairs.
Programme Structure:
Fellows' time will be divided into three key areas:
Prepare for JAMB, WAEC, NECO, BECE, NCEE and Post UTME
Practise CBT Exams on Mobile or PC
Prepare for Post UTME, WAEC, NECO, JAMB UTME, Junior WAEC (BECE) and Common Entrance (NCEE) with the MySchoolGist CBT App and Software. Use it on Android, iPhone or Windows to practise past questions anytime.

- Personal Research Project (60%): Fellows will design and complete a project with guidance from a Chatham House expert.
- Leadership Programme (20%): This aims to develop fellows' knowledge, network, self-awareness and essential skills for future leadership roles.
- Contribution to Ongoing Research Activities (20%): Fellows will work with their host research team and other Chatham House teams to contribute to existing research priorities.

- 'Leadership in the 21st Century' Breakfast Briefings

Benefits:
- Monthly stipend of £2,365 to cover London living costs
- Coverage of relocation, visas, UK Immigration Healthcare Surcharge, fieldwork, travel, research activities and potential publication costs
Eligibility:
- Open to citizens of any African country or those holding dual nationality with an African country
- Must hold a completed BA degree or equivalent and have research experience
- Early-to-mid-career professionals from academia, NGOs, business, government, civil society or media
- No age restrictions
