Chimamanda Adichie Receives Honorary Degree from University in Scotland

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, has been awarded an honorary degree at the University of Edinburgh Scotland, United Kingdom.

Nigerian author, Chimamanda Adichie,has received an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters at the University’s recently redeveloped St Cecilia’s Hall – Scotland’s oldest concert hall.
The honorary doctorate degree was presented to the writer by the university’s Principal and Vice Chancellor, Professor Sir Timothy O’Shea, in recognition of Ms Adichie’s achievements as an author and public intellectual.
