NCEE Common Entrance Exam Timetable for Unity Schools 2025
The 2025 National Common Entrance Examination timetable is now out. This post shows the exam date, paper schedule, break time and rules for all pupils. Read this guide fully to get ready for the test.

The National Examinations Council has fixed the date for the 2025 National Common Entrance Examination into JSS 1 of Federal Unity Colleges.
The exam holds across all centres on Saturday 14 June 2025.

Follow the Full Timetable on Exam Day
Each pupil must come early and stay through all parts of the test.
Below is the full schedule:
- 7:30 am – 9:30 am: Validation, attendance marking and sanitisation
- 9:30 am – 9:40 am: Distribution of OMR answer sheets for Paper I
- 9:40 am – 9:50 am: Distribution of Paper I question papers

9:50 am – 12:00 noon: Paper I (Two Parts)
- Part A: Mathematics and Basic Science and Technology
- Part B: English Studies and National Values Education
- 12:00 noon – 12:55 pm: Break and sanitisation
- 12:55 pm – 1:05 pm: Distribution of OMR answer sheets for Paper II
- 1:05 pm – 1:15 pm: Distribution of Paper II question papers

1:15 pm – 2:35 pm: Paper II (Two Parts)
- Part A: Quantitative and Vocational Aptitude
- Part B: Verbal Aptitude
Read These Exam Hall Rules
You must follow these rules during the test.
- Use only the time shown on the question paper if it differs from the timetable.
- Pupils with albinism or blindness get 30 extra minutes per paper.
- Blind pupils must write on the NECO-provided OBR braille sheet.
- Do not bring electronic gadgets into the hall.
These items are not allowed:
- Scientific calculators
- Programmable calculators
- Mobile phones
- Tablets
- iPads
- Smart wristwatches
- Smart glasses
- Smart pens
Only a simple calculator is allowed.
Stay alert, follow the steps and reach the centre early with all needed materials.
