Admission Requirements for Diploma Programmes
Applicants for diploma programmes need credit passes in at least four subjects.
The four subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, a subject related to the chosen course and one other subject in SSCE, GCE, NECO or an equivalent examination. Crawford University also accepts a professional certificate in Technology, Business Administration, Banking, Accounting, Law, Marketing Finance, Insurance and related areas.
Mature candidates may also get consideration under the stated terms. Such candidates must be at least 35 years old, hold qualifications below the minimum four-credit requirement, include English Language and Mathematics or a pass in either subject and have at least 10 years of related work experience.
Specified Subject Area Requirements

Social Work and Community Development
Candidates under this area may qualify with SSCE or GCE O'Level, at least 3 credits and a minimum age of 30 years.
The category also covers officers from the Ministry of Social Welfare, religious organisations, media, local government service, security agencies, refugee work and humanitarian work. Other interested candidates with OND, NCE, B.Sc., certificates or equivalent qualifications may also apply.
Security and Criminology
For Security and Criminology, the listed requirement also covers officers from the rank of Assistant Superintendent or its equivalent.
Admission Requirements for Professional Diploma
Professional diploma applicants should possess credit passes in four science subjects.
The four science subjects must include a credit pass in Mathematics and at least a pass in English Language.
Admission Requirements for Certificate Programmes
Certificate programme applicants should have at least 3 credit passes in relevant subjects in Art, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences.
The credits must come from not more than 2 sittings at GCE, SSCE, WASC or NECO. A credit pass in English Language is also required.
