The Developing Engineering Leaders through Her (DELT-Her) Initiative is now accepting applications for the 2025 cycle. If you’re a Nigerian woman with a solid engineering idea and a clear plan, this could be your shot to bring it to life.
Launched to bridge the gender gap in engineering and tech in Nigeria, DELT-Her backs young women with fresh ideas, strong teams, and the drive to build working solutions. It’s not just about funding. The programme offers mentorship and aims to shape those ideas into viable startup businesses.
This initiative draws inspiration from projects by groups like the Anita Borg Institute and the UN’s Girl Up! campaign, with a clear focus—get more girls into engineering and help them stay the course.
