Eko Distribution Trainee Programme (EDTP 2.0) for Graduates

Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) is accepting applications for the Eko Distribution Trainee Programme.

This programme trains young graduates to build skills and gain experience in the electricity distribution sector.

Successful candidates will learn through structured training and practical work.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet these conditions:

• A first degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting or related fields.
• A minimum of Second Class Upper division from a recognised university.
• A Second Class Lower division with a master's degree in a relevant field is also accepted.
• Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) before the programme starts.
• 0 to 3 years of work experience.
• Professional certifications are an advantage.

The programme seeks individuals with:

• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking ability.
• An entrepreneurial mindset for business growth.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
