EKSU Announces New Exam Dates – Full Details Inside

The Ekiti State University (EKSU) has announced a shift in the commencement date for the second-semester exams for the 2023/2024 academic session.

This change comes after the university’s management and the Committee of Deans held a special meeting on 10th October 2024.

During the meeting, the management received a letter from the EKSU Students’ Union Executives, asking for a 21-day extension for the exam.

The students cited the devastating impact of recent floods caused by heavy rainfall.

The management and the deans discussed the situation in detail.

They acknowledged the challenges faced by the students and expressed their understanding.

After much consideration, it was decided to grant a one-week extension to help students prepare.

EKSU Exam Dates Update

The management of EKSU made the following decisions regarding the new exam dates:

• Students will have a one-week extension to prepare for the exams.
• Exams for 300 level students will start on Monday, 21st October 2024.
• Exams for 100 and 200 level students will begin on Monday, 28th October 2024.
• Exams for 400 and 500 level students will commence on Monday, 25th November 2024.

These new dates aim to ensure that all students are fully prepared for the second semester exams.
