The Federal University of Education, Zaria, has announced the sale of application forms for admission into the Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) for the 2025/2026 academic session. The programme offers professional training for individuals seeking teaching qualifications that meet the standards of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

Applicants with degrees or higher qualifications who wish to pursue a teaching career are encouraged to apply to the Federal University of Education, Zaria PDE programme.

Programme Overview

The Professional Diploma in Education is a one-year academic programme designed to equip students with essential teaching skills and professional certification. It is conducted on a part-time basis, allowing working professionals to attend classes without disrupting their daily schedules.

Duration

The PDE programme runs for 12 months, with lectures held on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the session.

• Total fee: ₦54,200
• Payment option: Half payment of ₦27,100 is accepted

Applicants are required to obtain an electronic pin or scratch card at the cost of ₦5,000 before completing the registration process.
