Key dates students should keep in mind
Here is what the university has put out, straight and clear:
- Sunday, 4 January: holiday period ends
- Monday, 5 January 2026: lectures and other academic work resume
- Thursday, 8 January 2026: matriculation for newly admitted students
- Monday, 26 January 2026: exams begin (timetable stays the same)
That's the line-up. No new exam dates were added and none were shifted.
Safety message students should take seriously
The management asked students to put safety first while moving around Kashere.
The notice warned students to avoid night journeys and also skip unneeded night outings in Kashere. The reason given was security concerns.
It's a simple message, but it matters. Students can plan travel earlier in the day and keep movement calm and low risk.
Matriculation: what newly admitted students should do
FUKASHERE fixed matriculation for 8 January 2026 for newly admitted students.
The school encouraged the students involved to get ready and come out neat and presentable for the ceremony. It's one of those days people remember, even if it feels like "just an event" at first.
Small detail, still helpful: planning clothes, timing and transport ahead of time can save stress on the morning.
Exams: timetable stays the same
The university confirmed that the examination timetable has not changed. Exams will start on 26 January 2026.
So students who already started reading off the existing timetable should stick with it. No surprise swap.
Final note from management
As students return and campus gets busy again, the management wished students well in their studies and asked everyone to stay alert and safe.
Not a long message. Just the basics and the dates that matter.
