Who Can Apply?
General Requirements
To qualify for admission into any course at Fountain University:
- You must be at least 16 years old
- You must score 150 or more in the 2025 UTME
- You need five O'Level credits, including English and Mathematics, from WAEC, NECO or an equivalent. Two sittings max.
Direct Entry (DE)
For those applying through Direct Entry:
- You need at least 5 points from recognised A-Level programmes
- Medical Laboratory Science needs 7 points
- Nursing and Physiotherapy each require 9 points
Make sure your A-Level results and subjects match your course of interest.
Higher Cut-Off Marks for Specific Courses
Some courses are more competitive and demand higher JAMB scores:
- Nursing (B.NSc.) – 220 and above
- Physiotherapy – 200 and above
- Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS) – 170 and above
You must meet both the general requirements and the course-specific scores listed above to be considered.
