FUWUKARI Orientation and Matriculation 2025/2026

Federal University Wukari, Taraba State, has released the schedule for the 2025/2026 academic session orientation programme and matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students.

The notice has been issued through the Students Affairs Division and all newly admitted undergraduate and postgraduate students are expected to take part fully.

Who is the FUWUKARI notice meant for?

The notice is for all newly admitted undergraduate and postgraduate students of Federal University Wukari for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Fresh students are expected to take note of the approved dates, venue and time, since the orientation and matriculation exercises are part of the formal entry process into the University.

When will FUWUKARI orientation hold?

The students' orientation exercise will hold from Thursday, 18 June 2026 to Friday, 19 June 2026.

The exercise will start by 9:00 am daily at the Prof. Geoffrey Okogbaa Lecture Theatre.

When will FUWUKARI matriculation hold?

The students' matriculation exercise will hold on Saturday, 20 June 2026.

The event will also take place at the Prof. Geoffrey Okogbaa Lecture Theatre and the starting time is 9:00 am.

Where will the orientation and matriculation take place?

Both exercises will take place at the Prof. Geoffrey Okogbaa Lecture Theatre.

Fresh students are advised to arrive early and be seated before the scheduled time each day, as the programme will start by 9:00 am.

The Dean of Students, Professor Ijasini John Tekwa, indicated that the dates were fixed under the direction of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Benjamin A. Kefas.

Deans, Heads of Departments and the Student Union Government have also been requested to take note of the development.

What should newly admitted students do before the events?

Newly admitted students should prepare for the scheduled activities and ensure that they are seated at the venue before 9:00 am each day.

They should also note the difference between the orientation dates and the matriculation date, since the orientation will run for two days and the matriculation will take place on the third day.
