Garu Islamic College of Health Tech Admission Form 2026/2027

Garu Islamic College of Health Technology, Bauchi, has opened admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The form is for candidates who want to study health-related courses at diploma, National Diploma or Higher National Diploma level. Applicants should check each course and its entry rule before filling out the online form.

GICHT Courses and Entry Requirements

GICHT has listed several health programmes for the 2026/2027 admission exercise.

Some courses share the same five-credit science requirement, while some ND and HND courses have their own subject mix and UTME note. Candidates should read the details with care; one missing subject can affect admission.

Diploma Courses With Five Science Credits

The following diploma courses require at least five credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate level, WAEC or NECO:

• Diploma in X-Ray Technician
• Diploma in Pharmacy Technician
• Diploma in Dental Surgery Technician
• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician
• Diploma in Community Health (Retrainee)
• Diploma in Community Health

The required subjects are:

• English
• Mathematics
• Chemistry
• Biology
• Physics

The credits must come from not more than two sittings.

Diploma in Anaesthetic Technician

Candidates for Diploma in Anaesthetic Technician need O’Level credits in the following subjects:

• Mathematics
• English
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology

The credits must come from not more than two sittings.

HND Environmental Health Technology

Candidates for HND Environmental Health Technology need at least five credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate level, WAEC or NECO.

The compulsory subjects are:

• English
• Chemistry
• Biology

Candidates must also have any two of these subjects:

• Physics
• Mathematics
• Geography
• Economics
• Civic Education
• Agricultural Science

The credits must come from not more than two sittings.

ND Epidemiology and Disease Control Technology

Candidates for National Diploma in Epidemiology and Disease Control Technology need at least the minimum score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

They also need at least five credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate level, WAEC or NECO, in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. The credits must come from not more than two sittings.

ND Health Information Management

Candidates for National Diploma in Health Information Management need at least the minimum score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

They also need five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and one other subject from Physics, Agricultural Science, Economics or Geography. GICHT accepts NECO, WAEC, NABTEB or SSCE results at not more than two sittings.

ND Public Health Technology

Candidates for National Diploma in Public Health Technology need at least the minimum score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

They must also hold at least five credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate level, WAEC or NECO, in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. The credits must come from not more than two sittings.

ND Community Health

Candidates for National Diploma in Community Health need at least the minimum score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

They must also have five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics from NECO, WAEC, NABTEB or SSCE at not more than two sittings. Holders of CHEW Certificate with the listed qualifications may be admitted into ND II.

ND Dental Therapy

Candidates for National Diploma in Dental Therapy need at least the minimum score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

They also need five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics, Biology and one other subject such as Geography, Economics or Agricultural Science. GICHT accepts NECO, WAEC, NABTEB or SSCE results at not more than two sittings.

How to Apply for GICHT Admission Form

Candidates should complete the application online.

1. Visit the GICHT application portal.
2. Fill out the online form.
3. Pay the application fee of ₦5,000.
4. Submit the application before the deadline.

Applicants should check names, course choice, O’Level subjects and contact details before submission. A careful review helps the form go in cleanly.

All applications must be submitted by 31 July 2026.
