What the Google STEP Internship Offers

This Google Student Training in Engineering Program Internship lasts for 12 weeks.

You will work on a software project alongside another STEP intern and receive guidance from full-time Google engineers.

You will also attend training sessions designed to enhance both your technical and professional skills.

Responsibilities During the Internship

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Currently enrolled in your first or second year of a Bachelor's degree or a combined Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Located in Europe, the Middle East or Africa (EMEA) and available for a full-time 12-week internship from June 30 to September 26, 2025.
• Experience in programming with Java, C++ or Python.

Preferred Qualifications

Google prefers candidates who:

• Plan to return to their Bachelor's degree for at least two more years after completing the internship.
• Have programming experience beyond their university coursework.
• Show interest in learning new programming languages as needed.

You must be legally eligible to work in one of the specified locations for the duration of the programme.

Interns must be available full-time for 12 weeks in the summer of 2025, starting in July.
