Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Google Student Researcher Program, you must:

• Be enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's, Master's or PhD programme in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Natural Sciences or a related field.
• Have experience in one area of computer science, such as Natural Language Understanding, Human-Computer Interaction, Generative Media, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning or Quantum Information Science.

Preferred Qualifications

• Be enrolled in a full-time degree programme in the EMEA region and plan to return after completing the internship.
• Have prior research experience, such as internships, full-time roles or lab work.
• Have contributed to research communities through publications in conferences or journals.
• Be proficient in one or more programming languages, including C/C++, Java, Python, MATLAB or Go.
