IAUE 2025/2026 Academic Session Resumption Notice

The Senate of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has approved that academic activities for the 2025/2026 session will begin on Monday, 10 November 2025. Returning students and new entrants are warmly welcomed as IAUE prepares for another productive academic year.

The University's online portal is now open for all returning students to begin registration. This process includes payment of fees and course enrolment to ensure a smooth start to the term.

Registration Guidelines and Important Dates

Course registration at IAUE will close on Friday, 28 November 2025. Students who have not yet paid their fees may still register their courses before this closing date.

Returning students are expected to pay at least the first instalment of their fees or charges for the 2025/2026 session before 16 January 2026. Fresh students must pay both their acceptance fees and full tuition before matriculation. Final-year students are required to settle their full payments early to avoid any delay in graduation processing.

Students who fail to meet these deadlines for payment and registration will not be recognised as registered students for the session. Such cases may lead to loss of studentship for the academic year.

Responsibilities of Staff and Departments

All Deans of Faculties, the Dean of Students' Affairs, Directors of Academic Programmes, Heads of Academic and Non-Academic Units and Faculty Officers are to make full preparations for the arrival of both new and returning students. Heads of Departments must ensure that courses are properly assigned and uploaded online to support efficient registration.

Every stakeholder within IAUE is expected to comply strictly with these directives to keep the academic calendar on schedule.
