IAUE Student of the Year 2020 Award
Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has awarded Mr Ami Victor Ugochukwu the student of the year. Read more details below.
The Management of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education happily elects Mr Ami Victor Ugochukwu UG/2019/4789 – Level 100 student of Political Science, IAUE STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2020.
The student picked up and returned a smartphone worth thousands of naira to the owner. What is special about this is that he (Ugochukwu) has no phone – not even a “torchlight” one.
The Management commends and therefore celebrates this rare conduct.
The award attracts the following from the University:
1. A certificate of honour.
2. Four years comprehensive scholarship – covering school fees and little for his upkeep while in school.
3. Cheque from the University to refund him his Year One fee already paid.
4. His photograph will be displayed on the University’s Electronic Billboard of Excellence for 6 months.
Mr Ugochukwu has also received numerous gifts and pledges from some individuals who learnt about this rare conduct.
