Federal Polytechnic Ilaro has opened applications for its Open Distance and Flexible E-Learning programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The ODFEL programmes cover National Diploma and Higher National Diploma options for applicants who cannot attend full-time classes.

What Are Federal Polytechnic Ilaro ODFEL Programmes?

Federal Polytechnic Ilaro ODFEL programmes are part-time diploma options offered through Open Distance and Flexible E-Learning.

Applicants can apply for either ND or HND, depending on their current academic qualifications.

How Long Do the ODFEL Programmes Last?

Both ND and HND ODFEL programmes run for six semesters over 24 months.

That gives applicants a clear study duration before they choose the programme.

Who Can Apply for ND ODFEL Admission?

ND applicants need at least five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, at no more than two sittings.

Applicants with awaiting results can also apply, but they must upload the results once available.

• ND transcript, if they did not study at Ilaro
• An online screening test
