UNICROSS Certificate Issuance Requirements and Steps for Students
University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) requires all students to settle fees and complete clearance for certificate issuance. Pay your fees and get ready for NYSC or graduation.
The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has issued an important notice regarding the issuance of certificates for Final Year, First Degree, and Postgraduate students.
This notice outlines the essential steps and requirements for obtaining certificates from the university.
Requirements for Certificate Issuance
To ensure the smooth processing of certificates, students must meet the following conditions:
- Settle Outstanding School Fees
All students are required to pay any pending school fees owed to the university. Failure to clear these fees will result in the withholding of their academic certificates. - Obtain Necessary Clearances
Students must secure clearance from key departments, including the Bursary and Audit Departments. These clearances confirm that all fees have been fully paid. Proof of this payment and clearance must be submitted with any certificate request. - Processing and Signing of Certificates
Only students who have completed all payment and clearance procedures will have their certificates processed and signed. - NYSC Mobilization
Students mobilized for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Programme should note that their certificates must be issued before heading to the orientation camp. Final Year Degree students must immediately pay any outstanding fees and complete their clearance to ensure the issuance of certificates before camp. - Verification by Auditors
Auditors will verify all certificate requests and submissions. Only those with complete and accurate clearance of fees will be processed. - Avoid Last-Minute Delays
Students are strongly advised not to wait until the last minute to request their certificates. Delays will not be accommodated, and the university will not rush the process. As the saying goes, “A stitch in time saves nine.”
Postgraduate Students’ Compliance
Postgraduate students in their Final Year should also comply with these guidelines to ensure prompt processing of their certificates.
Act Promptly to Avoid Delays
By complying early with these requirements, you can avoid unnecessary delays in obtaining your certificates.
