JAMB Disowns Circulating Messages on Exam Slip Reprint
JAMB has warned candidates about fake texts asking them to reprint exam slips for another resit. The board says no such exam is planned. Here's what really happened and who should stay alert.

JAMB is clearing the air. The exam body says messages telling candidates to reprint their slips for a resit are fake.
These texts came through what looked like JAMB's official 66019 shortcode. But the board has now said that version of the code was spoofed. In other words, someone made it look real, but it isn't.

No Resit Scheduled, Says JAMB
Fabian Benjamin, JAMB's spokesperson, put out a statement to shut down the rumour.
"There are no ongoing resit exams," he said. "Some students who got those texts already sat for the resit and have their results. There's no need to panic."
He added that anyone who completed their resit successfully should ignore the messages. They are not from JAMB. They were made to cause trouble and confusion.
What's Next on JAMB's Schedule?
JAMB says the only exam still in the works is for foreign candidates. That one will take place in select countries across Europe, the Middle East and parts of Africa.
There's also a mop-up exam on the way. But that's only for candidates who missed both the main and resit exams due to biometric problems. And even then, only those granted waivers will be allowed to sit for it.
Ignore the Texts, Wait for Official Word
JAMB is urging everyone to ignore the false alerts. Real updates will come through official channels.
If you're eligible for the mop-up exam, you'll hear from JAMB directly when the time comes. Until then, don't let fake texts throw you off. Keep calm and double-check before acting.
