JAMB Sets 28 June for 2025 Mop-Up UTME, Slip Printing Starts 23 June
JAMB will hold the 2025 mop-up UTME on Saturday, 28 June. Over 96,000 candidates will resit the exam, and slips can be printed from Monday, 23 June. Read on for who qualifies and what to expect.
Who This Affects
JAMB has picked Saturday, 28 June 2025 for the mop-up exam. This isn’t for everyone. It’s mainly for:
- 5,096 candidates whose issues rolled over from earlier attempts
- Those who couldn’t complete biometric checks during the original UTME
- 91,742 candidates who missed either or both the main and resit exams
Altogether, 96,838 people are being given another shot, across 183 centres nationwide.
If your name’s on the list, be ready. The board has also placed a few others on standby, likely depending on available space or further checks.
When and How To Print Your Slip
Starting from Monday, 23 June 2025, eligible candidates can print their exam notification slips. This will show where and when you’ll sit.
Head straight to the portal:

You’ll need either your JAMB registration number or the GSM number used during registration.
Once you get the slip, check the details closely. Print a copy and hold onto it. You’ll need it on exam day.
Why This Matters
This mop-up is a one-time chance for 2025 UTME candidates who missed earlier exams or ran into technical blocks. JAMB rarely gives out second or third tries like this. So if you’re included, don’t waste the opportunity.
Get your slip early. Prepare well. And show up. No more room for excuses.
