Kaduna BECE Registration Extension 2026: Final Dates and Biodata Update

The Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority, KSSQAA, has announced a final extension for the 2026 registration for BECE, BAICE, QE and SAIQE. It described this period as the last chance for schools to complete every required step; any candidate not registered by 28 April 2026 will not be eligible for the examinations.

KSSQAA Announces Final Extension for 2026 Exams

In a notice dated 7 April 2026, KSSQAA directed principals, proprietors in public and private schools, examination officers, parents and other stakeholders to act within the new dates. The Authority stated that the portal is open only for the timelines listed below.

No further extension will be granted. That point was stated plainly, and it matters.

Final Registration Timelines

The registration window covers PIN processing and candidate registration for both public and private schools.

Private schools PIN purchase dates

Private schools can purchase registration PINs from 15 April 2026 to 25 April 2026.

Public schools PIN request dates

Public schools can request PINs from 15 April 2026 to 22 April 2026.

Candidate registration deadline for all schools

Public and private schools must complete candidate registration from 15 April 2026 to 28 April 2026.

Any candidate not registered by 28 April 2026 will not be eligible for the examinations.

Student Biodata Update Deadline

KSSQAA also directed all schools to make sure that each student’s biodata is correctly uploaded and updated on the portal. The biodata update window will close on Thursday, 30 April 2026.

That means schools need to check each candidate record with care; names, details, and other entries must be correct before the portal closes.

How Schools Can Edit Student Information

To edit student information, schools should use the route provided by KSSQAA on its portal:

School Representative Portal on KSSQAA -> Examination -> School Representative Portal -> Students Management -> Students -> Select student -> View -> Edit Info

The steps are short, but the task is Serious. Schools need to complete the edits before 30 April 2026.

What Schools Should Note

KSSQAA repeated one key warning: candidates who are not duly registered within the stated period will not be allowed to sit for the examination.

That leaves no room for delay; schools need to sort PINs, complete registration, and confirm biodata before the deadlines pass.

Final Word on the 2026 KSSQAA Registration Extension

This final extension covers BECE, BAICE, QE and SAIQE registration for 2026. Private schools have until 25 April 2026 to buy PINs, public schools have until 22 April 2026 to request them, all candidate registration ends on 28 April 2026, and biodata updates close on 30 April 2026.

KSSQAA thanked schools and stakeholders for their cooperation as the registration exercise moves to its final stage.
