Message to Parents, Guardians and School Heads

The Commissioner of Education, Gwani Dr. Ali Haruna Abubakar Makoda, wished pupils and students a successful holiday. He also advised parents and guardians to watch over their wards and make sure they return on time for the new term, so school work can continue without delay.

The Commissioner also reminded school administrators to follow the approved academic calendar strictly. He restated the administration’s aim of maintaining a good learning environment and high standards across the Kano State education sector.

What This Means for Schools

All affected schools in Kano State are expected to work with the dates already approved by the Ministry of Education. For pupils, students, and families, the notice settles the holiday plan; for school managers, it sets the resumption line clearly.
