Kogi State Polytechnic Part-Time Admission Form 2025/2026

Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, is now selling admission forms for its part-time National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND) and Diploma programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you're working or prefer a flexible study path, this could be your shot.

Available Programmes

Below are the available departments and what each offers.

1. Accountancy

• HND Accountancy (5 semesters): You must have an ND in Accountancy (or a related course) with at least a lower credit. You also need five O'Level credits including English, Maths and three subjects like Economics or Commerce.
• ND Accountancy (6 semesters): Five credits, same as above, no ND required.
• ND Special (2 semesters): Same five credits, plus a Diploma in Public Accounting and Auditing. You must also submit your transcript.

2. Business Administration

• HND Business Admin (5 semesters): ND in Business Admin with at least lower credit, plus five credits including English and Maths.
• ND Business Admin (6 semesters): Just the five required credits.

3. Computer Science

• HND Computer Science (5 semesters): ND in Computer Science with lower credit. Five credits including English, Maths and core science subjects.
• ND Computer Science (6 semesters): Same five credits as above.

4. Library and Information Science

• HND Library and Info Science (5 semesters): ND in a related field with lower credit. Must have five credits including English, Maths and subjects like History or Literature.
• ND Library and Info Science (6 semesters): Same five credits apply.

5. Office Technology Management

• HND OTM (5 semesters): ND in OTM with lower credit, plus five credits including English, Maths and three related subjects.
• ND OTM (6 semesters): Just the five credits, no ND needed.

6. Public Administration

• HND Public Admin (5 semesters): ND in Public Admin or related course, lower credit and five credits in subjects like Government or Economics.
• ND Public Admin (6 semesters): Same five credits.
• ND Special (2 semesters): Five credits plus a Diploma in Public Admin. You must also submit your transcript.

7. Diploma in Law

• Diploma Law (6 semesters): You must be a public officer (minimum rank of Assistant Executive Officer) and have at least four credits in O'Level, including English. A pass in Maths is also needed.

Notes for All Applicants

• If you're applying for an HND and your ND is from another school, submit your transcript.
• Choose your preferred study centre from Lokoja, Okene, Kabba or Anyigba.
• Submit hard copies of your form and credentials to the Admission Office.
