LASUED Easter holidays and resumption date 2026

Lagos State University of Education, LASUED, has informed the University Community that the Federal Government has declared Friday, 3 April 2026, and Monday, 6 April 2026, as public holidays for the Easter celebration.

Staff and students are expected to observe the holidays as declared. The notice also states that essential staff on duty are exempt from the directive.

Dates approved for the Easter public holidays

The public holidays announced for the Easter celebration are:

• Friday, 3 April 2026
• Monday, 6 April 2026

These two dates have been set aside for the holiday period; members of staff and students are to take note.

The circular applies to members of staff and students of Lagos State University of Education.

LASUED resumption date after Easter break

The University will resume full operations on Tuesday, 7 April 2026.
