Lens University, Ilemona, has received approval from the National Universities Commission for additional full-time academic programmes, with effect from the 2026/2027 academic session.

The approval followed the resource inspection carried out by the NUC team on Saturday, 9 May 2026.

The approval was contained in a letter dated 16 June 2026, signed by Abubakar M. Girei, Director of Academic Planning at NUC.

The programmes will be offered in full-time mode at the main campus of the University.

The approval letter stated that the Executive Secretary had considered and approved the establishment of the full-time mode of the listed programmes.
