MAU-Microfinance Bank Releases Academic Gown Hiring Charges for 29th/30th Convocation

As the 29th/30th convocation ceremony draws near, the management of MAU-Microfinance Bank, Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has released the official bank charges for hiring academic gowns.

The notice was signed by the Registrar; it set out the fees graduands are to pay based on their qualification level (simple category check, then payment).

Official charges for hiring academic gowns

The bank listed the charges as follows:

  1. Certificate/Diploma: N1,000
  2. First Degree: N2,000
  3. Masters/PGD: N3,000
  4. Doctorate (PhD): N5,000

These figures are the stated bank charges for gown hire; graduands should match their programme level to the correct line and take note.

What the Registrar's notice said

The notice, addressed to the General Manager of the bank, stated that the information was provided "for the bank's information and further necessary action".

It also thanked the bank for its cooperation and asked all concerned to take note of the charges ahead of the ceremony; a small detail, but it matters.
