MAUTECH Announces Security Enhancements for Convocation
Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) announces the 27th Convocation Ceremony on May 12-13, 2023. To ensure security, all entrances except the main gate will be closed during this period. The University Management thanks the community for their understanding and cooperation.
The Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH), a premier institution in Nigeria, wishes to inform all staff members and the broader University community about the forthcoming 27th Convocation Ceremony scheduled for the 12th and 13th of May, 2023. In an effort to ensure utmost security during this crucial event, the University Management has taken the necessary step of limiting access to the University grounds.
In line with the heightened security measures, all entrances, barring the main gate, will be temporarily closed from 8.00am on Friday, 12th May, until 6.00pm on Saturday, 13th May, 2023. Individuals intending to visit the University during these times are kindly requested to use only the main gate.

This directive was issued by the University Management and is aimed at strengthening the security network around the University during the Convocation Ceremony. The Chairman of the University Security Committee and the Chief Security Officer of the University have been duly informed and are expected to ensure that these measures are properly implemented.
The Registrar of the University, Halima M. Bala, FIMC, made this announcement in a circular released to the University community. The circular was also copied to the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), University Librarian, all Deans/Directors, Heads of Departments, Units, the Information Office and has been posted on all notice boards.
The Management of MAUTECH appreciates the understanding and cooperation of all members of the University community during this period. They assure everyone that these measures are in place to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the 27th Convocation Ceremony. It is an important event that celebrates the academic achievements of students and the continuous commitment of the University towards academic excellence.
