McPherson University Postgraduate Admission 2025/2026
McPherson University has opened its postgraduate admissions for the 2025/2026 session. Programmes include PGD, MSc, MBA and PhD across fields like Computer Science and Accounting. Read on to see who qualifies and how to apply.
McPherson University (McU), located along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, is now accepting applications for its postgraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. Both full-time and part-time options are available.
Available Programmes and Entry Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Computer Science
- A B.Sc. in any related course or an HND in Computer Science can qualify you.
M.Sc. in Computer Science
- You'll need a B.Sc. in Computer Science with at least a Second Class Lower.
- If you have a Third Class, you must also hold a PGD in Computer Science or a related course.
- HND holders must present a PGD as well.
- NYSC completion or exemption is compulsory.
Ph.D. in Computer Science
- You must meet the MSc entry rules.
- A minimum of 60% average in MSc (from McU or another approved school) is required.
- M.Phil candidates who perform exceptionally by their third semester may switch to the PhD path if the department supports it.
- NYSC status must be cleared.
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
To qualify, you need:
Prepare for JAMB, WAEC, NECO, BECE, NCEE and Post UTME
Practise CBT Exams on Mobile or PC
Prepare for Post UTME, WAEC, NECO, JAMB UTME, Junior WAEC (BECE) and Common Entrance (NCEE) with the MySchoolGist CBT App and Software. Use it on Android, iPhone or Windows to practise past questions anytime.

- Five O'Level credits, including English and Maths.
- A B.Sc. or B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Admin or related courses with Second Class Lower or better.
- An HND plus any of the following: PGD, ACA, ACCA, ANAN, ACMA, ACIT, AIB or ACIS.
- Bachelor's in any other course with industry experience may also apply.
- Completion of NYSC is required.
- English proficiency is a must for international applicants.
M.Sc. in Accounting
Applicants must have:
- Five O'Level credits, including English, Maths and either Accounting, Commerce or Economics.
- A B.Sc. or B.A. in Accounting, Finance or Economics with Second Class Lower or above.
- NYSC must be completed or waived.
