MOAUM Easter Public Holidays 2026

MOAUM declares Easter public holidays

Reverend Father Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM) has announced that Friday, 3 April 2026 and Monday, 6 April 2026, are Public Holidays for Good Friday and Easter Monday.

The notice applies to both Staff and Students of the University.

Academic and administrative activities to pause

The University stated that all administrative and academic activities will be suspended on the two holiday dates; this means there will be no regular official work or academic engagement on Friday, 3 April 2026 and Monday, 6 April 2026.

Normal University activities will resume on Tuesday, 7 April 2026.

Essential services staff exempt

The announcement also made one point clear. Staff on essential services are exempt from the holiday and are expected to remain at their duty posts.

That exemption covers workers whose roles must continue during the break.
