NADS Essay Competition 2025 For Dental Students Announced
The Nigerian Association of Dental Students and APDPN are calling for essays ahead of the 2026 IADS Midyear Meeting in Jordan. The winner gets a fully funded trip and recognition at the October conference. Deadline for entries is 6th October 2025.
The Nigerian Association of Dental Students (NADS), in partnership with the Association of Private Dental Practitioners in Nigeria (APDPN), has opened applications for the NADS Essay Competition. This contest gives dental students the chance to win a fully funded trip to the International Association of Dental Students (IADS) Midyear Meeting 2026 in Jordan.
The organisers have pitched it as more than just a contest. It is a doorway to new friendships, academic exchange and exposure to the global dental community.

What the Essay Should Contain
Students are asked to write on why they would want to attend the upcoming IADS meeting. The details are plain and straight:
- The essay should not exceed 1,000 words.
- The title must carry both the writer's name and their dental student association.
- Text format is Times New Roman, size 12.
- Referencing must follow APA 7 style.
The final date for submission is 6 October 2025, leaving just enough time for keen students to put pen to paper.
