Niger Delta University (NDU) Academic Calendar 2021/2022

The management of the Niger Delta University (NDU), Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State, has released the academic calendar for the 2021/2022 academic session.

NDU Academic Calendar

The Committee of Provost and Deans (CPD) at its 151st Meeting held on Wednesday December 21, 2022 amongst other deliberations decided as follows:

1. The CPD appreciates the Bayelsa State Government for the completion of the remedial work on the failed portions of the Tombia/Amassoma
   Road leading to the University. The effort of the Government has facilitated the full resumption of academic activities following the disruption by the recent devastating floods.
2. Following the resumption of full academic activities, the 2021/2022 academic calendar has been revised thus:

FIRST SEMESTER FOR 2021/2022 ACADEMIC SESSION

• Lectures continue – Tuesday, January 3, 2023
• Lectures End – Friday, February 3, 2023
• Faculty of Education and GST First Semester Examination Begins – Monday, 6 February 2023
• Other Faculties First Semester Examination Begins – Monday, 13 February 2023
• First Semester Examination Ends – Wednesday, February 22, 2023

SECOND SEMESTER FOR 2021/2022 ACADEMIC SESSION

• Lectures Begin › Wednesday, March 1, 2023
• Lectures End › Friday, June 2, 2023
• Faculty of Education and GST Second Semester Examination Begins › Monday, June 5, 2023
• Other Faculties Second Semester Examination Begins › Monday June 12, 2023
• Second Semester Examination and Project Defence Ends › Friday, June 30, 2023
