Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has announced the matriculation ceremony for newly admitted candidates for the 2025/2026 academic session. The event has a fixed date, time and venue; candidates are also given clear instructions on gowns and the procession Order.

Matriculation date, time and venue

The 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony is slated to hold as follows:

Prepare for JAMB, WAEC, NECO, BECE, NCEE and Post UTME

Collection of matriculation gowns

Matriculating candidates are to collect academic gowns at no cost from the offices of their respective Faculty Officers, starting Tuesday, 24 February 2026. The gowns must be returned immediately after the ceremony; this instruction stands.

There is also a stricter note: all gowns MUST be returned to the Faculty Officers within 24 hours after the matriculation exercise.

Assembly time and procession arrangement

All matriculating students are to assemble outside the Convocation Square by 8.00 am Prompt for procession. Students are to line up behind their respective Faculty Officers in alphabetical order, as listed:

Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Engineering

NSUK states that the Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Engineering are to observe their matriculation ceremony at their various campuses, as usual.

For seating times:

Fine or penalty for late gown return

NSUK warns that failure to return the gowns within the stipulated time will attract fine and/or penalty; nobody wants that kind of bill after a formal Ceremony.
