NYSC Foreign-Trained Graduates Verification 2026: Dates, Centres and Documents

NYSC has announced the physical verification of credentials and travel documents for foreign-trained Nigerian graduates under the 2026 Batch 'B' Stream I service year.

The exercise applies to foreign-trained graduates whose credentials and travel documents have not yet gone through physical checks; NYSC wants such Prospective Corps Members to appear with their original papers at the centre already chosen for them.

The dates are short.

NYSC Physical Verification Date

The verification exercise will run from Tuesday, 2 June to Thursday, 4 June 2026.

Foreign-trained PCMs should follow the date, time and venue stated on their verification slip, as NYSC expects each person to report as directed.

NYSC Verification Centres for Foreign-Trained Graduates

The physical verification will take place at the chosen centres listed below.

Each PCM should check the verification slip before travel.

A wrong venue can waste time and a missed date may affect the next step.

Documents PCMs Must Bring

Foreign-trained PCMs must present all original credentials and travel documents uploaded or expected to be uploaded, during online registration.

Copies may help with sorting papers, but NYSC asked for originals for the physical check, so each person should carry the real documents and keep them safe during travel.

Extra Rule for Medical Graduates

Medical graduates have extra papers to handle.

They should upload their licences, registration certificates and other relevant documents issued by their various bodies, then go to the verification centre with the original copies.

Federal Ministry of Education Evaluation Letters

PCMs with original evaluation letters from the Federal Ministry of Education must submit them at the NYSC Headquarters in Abuja.

After submission, they should upload the acknowledged copies online.

NYSC Warning on Deployment, Exemption and Exclusion

NYSC said only PCMs who appear in person with their credentials, pass the physical verification and receive clearance will be deployed, exempted or excluded from National Service.

That means online registration alone does not close the process for affected foreign-trained graduates.

Physical appearance matters.

Final Note for Foreign-Trained PCMs

Foreign-trained Nigerian graduates listed for the 2026 Batch 'B' Stream I verification should treat the exercise with care.

A PCM should check the slip, gather every original credential and travel paper, follow the assigned centre and report within the stated period from 2 to 4 June 2026.
