OAU Pre-Degree Admission Form is Out 2025/2026
Obafemi Awolowo University has begun the sale of pre-degree admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic year. The programme runs for nine months and prepares candidates for 100-level entry. Applicants are urged to meet the entry rules, pick the right subject group and complete their registration before the closing date.
Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has opened applications for its pre-degree programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. This programme, which spans nine months, offers two contact periods and is aimed at preparing students for admission into 100-level degree courses.
What the OAU Pre-Degree Programme Offers
The programme is structured to mirror the course of study that applicants plan to pursue. Each candidate is expected to take subjects that align directly with their future degree goal. At the end, the result will be used to seek admission into 100-level.

Entry Requirements for OAU Pre-Degree Admission
To qualify, applicants must:
- Hold at least five O'Level credits in no more than two sittings.
- Include English Language for all courses.
- Add Mathematics for Science and Social Sciences.
- Provide Literature-in-English for Law.
Subject Groups and Combinations
Applicants must carefully select the correct subject set that matches their intended course. The approved combinations are:
- Arts
- GLR: Government / Literature-in-English / Religious Studies
- EGL: Government / Literature-in-English / Economics
- Biological Sciences
- BCP: Biology / Chemistry / Physics
- Physical Sciences
- CMP: Chemistry / Mathematics / Physics
- GMP: Geography / Mathematics / Physics
- Social Sciences
- EGM: Economics / Government / Mathematics
- MGE: Mathematics / Geography / Economics
