Ogun Sate BECE Timetable 2026: Junior WAEC Exam Dates

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Abeokuta, has released the timetable for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE, in Ogun State.

The examination will start on Tuesday, 30 June 2026 and end on Wednesday, 8 July 2026.

What has the Ogun State Ministry announced?

The Ministry has announced that the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination will be conducted in all public and private junior secondary schools in Ogun State.

The BECE is for students in their final year of Junior Secondary School and it marks the move from JSS 3 to the senior secondary level.

Who will be allowed to write the 2026 Ogun BECE?

Only candidates who registered online for the examination will be allowed to write.

Any candidate who did not complete the online registration will not be allowed to take part in the examination, so schools and candidates should confirm registration status before the first paper.

What are principals expected to do?

Principals are expected to make proper arrangements for the successful conduct of the examination.

Schools should also guide candidates on the timetable, arrival time, subject order and conduct required throughout the examination period.

What conduct is expected from candidates?

Candidates are expected to comport themselves well during the examination.

The Ministry has stated that arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the examination and candidates should follow the rules given by their schools and examination officials.

The 2026 Ogun State BECE will run from Tuesday, 30 June to Wednesday, 8 July 2026.
