How to Pay the OOU Acceptance Fee
The payment process is simple and can be done either online or through designated POS terminals on campus.
Step-by-Step Payment Procedure
1. Choose Your Payment Method
- POS Payment: Pay at any OOU Point of Sales (POS) terminal on any of the campuses — Ayetoro, Ibogun, Remo or the Main Campus in Ago-Iwoye.
- Online Payment: Visit the OOU Payment Portal to make your payment online.
2. Online Payment Steps
- Go to the OOU Admission Portal.
- Click CHECK ADMISSION STATUS to confirm your admission.
- Log in using your JAMB Number and your Surname as the password.
- Click MAKE ACCEPTANCE PAYMENT.
- Choose MAKE WEB PAYMENT for direct online payment or MAKE POS PAYMENT to pay at an approved POS point.

What to Do After Payment
After completing your OOU Acceptance Fee payment:
- Proceed to the Academic Affairs Office for the first verification.
- Then go to your Faculty Office for the second verification.
Prepare and submit the following documents during the verification process:
- Verification/Personal Data Form
- Acceptance Fee Receipt
- UTME Result Slip
- OOU Post UTME Result
- O'Level Result(s)
- Diploma Result (for Direct Entry candidates)
- Birth Certificate
- Tax Clearance Certificate
- JAMB Admission Letter
All verification forms must be counter-signed at your College or Faculty Office to complete the process.
OOU Acceptance Fee Deadline
The final deadline for payment of the OOU Acceptance Fee is 12th October 2025. Students must make the payment before this date to keep their admission valid.
Candidates who pay but fail to upload correct and verifiable documents by Monday, 20th October 2025, risk losing their admission to replacement candidates.
