Apply Now: OYSCONME ND Nursing Programme 2024/2025

The Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Eleyele (OYSCONME) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the Computer Assisted Screening (CAS) for admission into its National Diploma (ND) Nursing programme for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Overview of the Programme

This is a four-year programme starting in October 2024. Upon completion, candidates will take the College and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) Final Qualifying Examinations to become General Nurses. Successful candidates will be eligible for registration with NMCN as Registered Nurses (RN).

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, applicants must:

1. JAMB Score: Achieve a minimum score of 200 in the JAMB examination, with OYSCONME selected as their preferred institution.
2. Educational Qualifications: Possess WAEC/SSCE/GCE or NECO/SSCE/GCE with at least five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. These credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings from the same examination body.
3. Age Requirement: Be at least 17 years old by the time of admission.

Application Process

To apply, candidates should follow these steps:

1. Online Application: Visit the OYSCONME application portal at https://oysconme.edu.ng/admission/appform.
2. Payment: Make an online payment of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) for the application form fee via the provided link.
3. PIN Generation: After payment, print out the generated PIN.
4. Complete Application: Use the PIN to complete the application form on the college website.
5. Print Photocard: Print out the photocard and bring it to the College for endorsement.

Alternatively, candidates can visit the College ICT Centre with an ATM card to complete the payment if they find the online process cumbersome.

Important Dates

• Application Closing Date: Online applications must be completed by Friday, 16th August 2024.
• Entrance Examination (CBT): The exam will take place from Monday, 26th August to Wednesday, 28th August 2024 at Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Eleyele, Ibadan. The examination starts at 8.00 am prompt.
• Resumption Date: The resumption date for the programme is Monday, 2nd October 2024.
