Rufus Giwa Poly Suspends SUG Elections Until Further Notice

The management of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) has announced the suspension of the elections into Students' Union Government (SUG), Part-Time Students Association's (PTSA), Students' Representative Council (SRC) and Halls of Residence until further notice.

At its emergency meeting of Thursday 11th February 2021, Management received some reports pertaining to Students' Union Government (SUG), Part-Time Students Association's (PTSA), Students' Representative Council (SRC) and Halls of Residence Elections.

Management carefully discussed the issues raised in the report and decided to SUSPEND INDEFINITELY, elections into the various elective positions of the Students Union Government (SUG), Part-Time Students Association's (PTSA), Students Representative Council (SRC) and Halls of Residence FORTHWITH.

Thus, the elections remain SUSPENDED.

To this end, I am directed to humbly convey the foregoing decision of Management for IMMEDIATE appropriate action.
