TASUED Gets New Vice Chancellor - Prof. Oluwole Banjo

Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Ogun state governor and visitor to the Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, has confirmed the appointment of Prof. Oluwole Banjo as the university's fifth substantive and second indigenous vice-chancellor.

The declaration was made in a letter issued to the acting registrar of the university, Mr. Dapo Oke, by the Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

The appointment will be effective on November 2, 2020.

Prof. Banjo holds a master's degree in personnel psychology as well as a master's degree in wildlife ecotourism. He also holds a PhD from the University of Ibadan in Wildlife and Ecotourism Management.

The new vice chancellor had over 20 years of teaching experience and had previously served as deputy vice-chancellor, chairman of the university's Academic Ceremonies Committee and pioneer dean of the College of Vocational and Technology Education (COVTED).
